Remotelea Creative began as a dream, one I didn’t realise would grow into something so real and fulfilling. After years in my career journey, from signwriting to working in rural New Zealand I kept coming back to the same place: creating. I’ve loved design for as long as I can remember.
After finishing school I studied design and landed my first job at a signwriting company. That’s where I picked up some of the hands-on skills I still use every day like vinyl application, colour theory and large-format printing. It was such a great foundation and I’ll forever be grateful for it.
From there I had the amazing opportunity to work on a beautifully curated magazine, the only one of its kind in Canterbury at the time. I worked alongside a small team of incredible women who taught me so much about customer connection and turning big ideas into reality.
In between all of that I was always designing for friends helping them bring their visions to life and I loved every minute. After pouring my heart into every little detail of our wedding in 2017, I knew it was time to start something of my own. That’s when Remotelea Creative was born and I haven’t looked back.
I was born and raised in Zimbabwe, right in the heart of Africa. My childhood was full of adventure one of those storybook upbringings that I’ll always cherish.
When I’m not in the studio designing you’ll find me at the gym, with coffee in hand or enjoying the outdoors with family and friends. I’m a visual thinker, colour lover and detail enthusiast who truly loves the process of design, from concept to creation.
I work with all sorts of wonderful people, from business owners and couples planning their weddings to those bringing community projects to life. Designing meaningful brands, signage and stationery that leave a lasting impression.
No two projects are ever the same and that’s exactly what I love about what I do.
I can’t wait to be part of your journey.
