Remotelea Creative began as a dream and became a reality after years of working with some incredible design businesses. Creativity came naturally to me from a young age—it was always my happy place. After school, I studied design, which led to my first job at a signwriting company. There, I gained invaluable skills in vinyl application, colour theory, and large-format printing—skills I still use today and will always be grateful for.

Next, I had the privilege of working on a beautifully curated magazine—the only one of its kind at the time in Canterbury. Collaborating with an amazing team of women, I learned so much about connecting with customers and bringing ideas to life.

Over the years, I’ve spent countless hours creating for friends, and I knew I was ready to do more with my ideas. After pouring my heart into every detail of our 2017 wedding, Remotelea Creative was born—and I haven’t looked back since.

Hi, I’m Leanne, born and raised in Zimbabwe, in the heart of Africa. My childhood was something out of a storybook, full of wonder and adventure. Today, I’m proud to call New Zealand home, where I live with my beautiful family.

​

When I’m not designing, you’ll find me at the gym or enjoying a great coffee with friends. I’m a passionate creative who loves all things design, and I’m always exploring new ways to bring unique ideas to life.

I love working with all kinds of people—from business owners to couples planning their weddings or elopement. Every project is different, and that’s what keeps me inspired.
